Technical Specialist - Infrastructure Security

Position : Techincal Specialist-Infra Security Location : India, Thane, Work from Office Job Type : Full time CTC : 12 - 18 LPA Work Experience : 4-5 years Job Description : - Reporting to the Delivery Head and responsible for project activities like implementing next generation infra security solutions. - As a Technical Specialist in Infra Security, you will play a critical role in safeguarding organization's information systems and infrastructure. - You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security solutions to protect sensitive data and mitigate potential threats. - Participate in the planning and design of security solutions based on client requirements, industry best practices, and technical standards. - Create detailed technical documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and implementation/migration plans. - Ensure documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and aligns with project requirements. - Interface with vendor resources to ensure timely delivery of services, adherence to project specifications and maintain high-quality standards. - Responsible for configuration and implementation of security solutions, ensuring adherence to design specifications, industry standards, and best practices. - Lead testing and validation efforts to ensure that solutions meet functional and performance requirements. - Work along with senior team members to upgrade and/or migrate security solutions - Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues encountered during implementation. Liaise with OEM technical support for resolution of complex issues. - Conduct thorough quality assurance checks to verify that configurations are accurate and compliant. - Manage changes to device configurations, following change management processes and ensuring minimal disruption to operations. - Coordinate with stakeholders to communicate change impacts and obtain necessary approvals. - Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing issues and challenges to minimize impact on project delivery. - Provide post-implementation support to clients, ensuring smooth transition to operational status and addressing any issues or concerns that arise. - Collaborate with support teams to facilitate knowledge transfer and ensure ongoing support of deployed solutions. - Provide need based on-site or remote technical support to customers in case of incidents, planned changes, etc. - Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate security solutions with existing infrastructure (SIEM, Threat Intelligence, AAA Solution, etc. - Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices, integrating new knowledge into project methodologies and approaches. Requirements : - Strong understanding of cyber security fundamentals. - Strong understanding of protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, etc.), IPSEC/SSL VPN, SAML, LDAP, etc. - Strong understanding of encryption, authentication, and access control mechanisms. - Deploying and configuring next-generation firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point, Cisco Firepower) across various environments (on-premises, cloud, hybrid) with centralized management solutions. - Implementing advanced NGFW features like deep packet inspection, application-level filtering, and Identity based access controls, malware protection, and sandboxing. - Implementing Remote Access Solutions SSL/IPSEC VPNs, Remote Access Solutions based on ZTNA framework (Prisma Access, ZPA, etc.) - Deploying and configuring On-prem / Hybrid Proxy, Cloud Proxy solutions (e.g., Palo Alto Prisma Access, Forcepoint Proxy, Cisco Umbrella, Cisco WSA) across various environments (on-premises, cloud, hybrid). - Deploying and configuring multi-factor authentication solutions (Cisco Duo, Forti Authenticator, MS Authenticator). - Experience with Migration of security solutions across OEMs. - Good verbal & written communications skills - Know-how of creating technical design & implementation documents - Experience with security tools and software (e.g., Wireshark, Nmap,). - Proficiency and hands on experience on FortiGate NGFW, Palo Alto NGFW, Cisco / Forcepoint Web Proxy preferred. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and mitigate security threats. Qualification & Certification : - Any Graduate with required skills - Certifications such as PCNSE (Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer), CCSE (Check Point Certified Security Expert), or NSE (Fortinet Network Security Expert) preferred.
