Job Description : Job Title : Senior Application Developer - PowerBuilder Location : Mumbai, India Experience Required : 6 to 9 years Job Type : Full-Time Role Overview : We are inviting applications for the position of Senior Application Developer. The ideal candidate should be highly skilled in PowerBuilder and Sybase, and ready to handle comprehensive development and maintenance responsibilities. Key Responsibilities : - Develop user interfaces and modules as required. - Lead creative and scalable solutions for module design. - Write, debug, and enhance triggers, functions, and stored procedures in Sybase. - Maintain high standards of code quality and efficiency. - Perform unit, integration, system, and acceptance testing. - Proactively fix bugs and resolve errors. - Manage ongoing maintenance of existing modules. - Design training materials and lead user training sessions. - Resolve challenges related to module implementation and integration. Qualifications : Required : Bachelor's degree in Computer Applications (BCA), Technology (B.Tech), Science with a specialization in Computer Science/Information Technology (B.Sc CS/IT), or any graduate degree with a diploma in computers. Certification in PowerBuilder 19 or higher is mandatory. Experience : - Extensive experience (minimum 6 years) with PowerBuilder 19 or above. - Proven track record in Sybase SQL database management. - Experience in inventory management systems or similar functional domains. Skills : - Expertise in PowerBuilder tools and frameworks. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and technical skills. - Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. - Quick learning ability and adaptability to new technologies.
