Full Stack Engineer

Job Summary : The primary purpose of this role is to translate business requirements and functional specifications into logical program designs and to deliver code modules, stable application systems, and software solutions. This includes developing, configuring, or modifying complex integrated business and/or enterprise application solutions within various computing environments. This role facilitates the implementation and maintenance of complex business and enterprise software solutions to ensure successful deployment of released applications. Core Responsibilities : - Build front-end applications using technologies and languages including but not limited to TypeScript, JavaScript, React, and micro frontends. - Build backend services to support the UI applications developed by this team and others using technologies and languages including but not limited to Node.js, Fastify, Express, Java, Micronaut, Spring boot, Python, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, PostgreSQL, Kafka - Deploy the applications to Lowe's hosted data centers or the cloud using technologies and languages including but not limited to Docker, Kubernetes, Google Cloud Platform - Support the applications using data using technologies and languages including but not limited to Grafana, Kibana, PowerBI, Superset - Continuously works to simplify solutions, optimize processes, remove bottlenecks, and resolve escalated issues. Years of Experience : - 5 years of experience in software development or a related field - 4 years of experience in database technologies - 4 years of experience building UI using React and NodeJS with proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML and CSS - 4 years of experience working on project(s) involving the implementation of solutions applying development life cycles (SDLC) - 3 years of experience with REST APIs, Spring boot Primary Skills (must have) : - Proficient in one of the programming languages like Spring, Spring boot, Python , ReactJS, NodeJS, Golang with the ability to learn new one's quickly. - Working knowledge on Graph Database(preferable), NoSQL, SQL - Kubernetes, containerization, microservices development and deployment - Experience in cloud platforms like GCP (preferable), azure, AWS. - Strong problem-solving skills, with relevant experience in implementing large-scale distributed backend services. - Demonstrates broad and deep expertise in open source frameworks. - Stays current with new and evolving technologies via self-directed education - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to write detailed technical documents. - Experience with design and architecture of ML systems and workflows - Technically mentoring a team of talented engineers on all aspects. Secondary Skills (desired) : - Experience with development tools like Eclipse, Git, Gradle, Sonar, Jenkins, Jira, Artifactory etc - Experience with web application servers like Tomcat, Jetty, JBoss etc - Experience with TDD, code testability standards, JUnit/Mockito - Strong understanding of OOP, design patterns and industry best practices - Agile project experience (ref:hirist.tech)
