Airblack - Backend Engineer

Experience : 2 to 4 years Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (Preferred: Top Tier College) Technical Skills : Essential : - 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in backend development, preferably in a startup environment. - Proficiency in at least one modern backend language (e.g. , Python, Node.js, Go, Java). - Strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases and caching mechanisms. - Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). - Familiarity with microservices architecture and API design principles. - Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. - Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git). - Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for debugging complex issues. Highly Preferred : - Experience with real-time data processing, WebSockets, or GraphQL. - Experience with unit testing frameworks (e.g. , pytest, unittest). - Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g. , Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD). Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance backend systems for Airblack's online learning platform. - Develop and maintain APIs to support new features and ensure seamless integration with frontend applications. - Optimize database queries and implement data archiving strategies for efficient data management. - Collaborate with frontend developers and other engineers to ensure smooth system integration and functionality. - Participate in code reviews and contribute to maintaining a high code quality standard. - Stay up-to-date with the latest backend technologies and trends. - Identify and implement innovative solutions to improve system performance and user experience.
