Adult Outpatient Psychiatry Opportunity

St. Peter's Health Partners is seeking to recruit a full-time Outpatient Adult Psychiatrist on behalf of Ellis Hospital located in Schenectady, New York. The Ellis Psychiatry program has been helping people overcome mental illness for more than 50 years and offering specialized services for adults, children, and adolescents.

Position Details:

• The Psychiatrist will provide outpatient coverage for adult patients at the Outpatient Mental Health Clinic
• Position hours are Mon-Fri, 8-hour shifts
• Call Rotation: Weekends - 1 weekend per month; Nights: Rotating Call

Requirements: Applicants should have the following:

• MD or DO
• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Psychiatry
• DEA Licensure/NYS licensure required
• Previous experience is preferred but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Applicants should possess excellent clinical skills, communication skills, and a strong commitment to providing care that is team oriented

RECRUITMENT PACKAGE

St. Peters Health Partners offers a comprehensive salary and compensation package that includes:

• Competitive base salary including starting bonus
• Compensation is between $255,000 and $310,000
• The posted salary reflects the starting range of total compensation and does not include productivity bonuses, incentives related to quality and performance, extra shift incentives, and other forms of cash compensation as applicable to the position. In addition, providers typically receive a CME allowance and other benefits offered by their medical group employer. Please note that this salary range is provided in accordance with State law and is subject to variation due to the factors noted above.
