General Manager

We are currently seeking an experienced and competent General Manager for our beautiful Day Spa located in Kuils River, in the Western Cape. The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of operations, employee management, customer service, and profitability of the Spa. This individual will work closely with the Directors in order to develop and implement business strategies to drive growth and success. Responsibilities: Oversee day-to-day operations of the spa, including scheduling, staffing, and inventory management Develop and implement business strategies to meet revenue and profitability goals Manage and mentor spa staff to ensure high levels of customer service and employee satisfaction Monitor customer feedback and implement improvements to enhance the overall guest experience Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment for both employees and guests Collaborate with marketing team to develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new clients and retain existing ones Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and provide training as needed Maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and other business partners to ensure smooth operation of the spa Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding health, safety, and sanitation Minimum Requirements: Grade 12 or equivalent qualification A tertiary qualification in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field will be an added advantage At least 5 years of experience in a management role within the spa or hospitality industry Proven track record of driving revenue and profitability in a similar setting Excellent communication and leadership skills Strong organizational and time management abilities Knowledge of spa treatments, products, and services Familiarity with industry trends, customer preferences, and competition Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed If you are a motivated, organized, and results-driven individual with a passion for the spa and hospitality industry, we encourage you to apply for the General Manager position at our Dat Spa.
