THE POSITION

In this vital role, you will perform technical duties to assist in the review, analysis, and development of maintenance operations in accordance with management objectives and department policies and procedures within Armstrong County. DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this position, you will assist in analyzing work plans to ensure that the stock room is balanced and that all materials, equipment, tools, and supplies necessary to complete work plans are available. Additionally, expect to assist in completing adjustments to stocked materials, equipment, tools, and supplies as work plans change based on needs and time of year. You would also assist in reviewing and analyzing data from the systems, applications, and products (SAP) plant maintenance to ensure program goals are achieved and overall systems control is maintained.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

+ Full-time employment

+ Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.

+ Work hours subject to change based on seasonal requirements and operational needs.

+ This position may require overtime and shift work.

+ Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

+ One year of experience as a Technical Assistant; or

+ One year of experience in analysis of data utilized in planning and scheduling of work, materials and equipment and graduation from high school or GED equivalent; or

+ An Associate's Degree in a field of Business Administration, Computer Science, Highway Engineering Technology or other closely related program;or

+ Any equivalent combination of experience and training.

+ Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree.
