Project Reset

Project Reset is a local non-profit organization with a mission to support youth and families across the state of Arizona who are struggling with mental health, substance abuse, and life obstacles by providing secondary and tertiary prevention, all levels of intervention, and developmentally age-appropriate treatment services. All program services are unique, individualized and designed to meet individuals where that are at. As a member of the Project Reset/AmeriCorps program, you will engage in diverse activities that involve recurring access to youth, individuals and families. You will be asked to participate in programs/functions in various activities, transportation, outreach to schools and the community, survey and keep records of needs, develop relationships with treatment providers, community coalitions, academic institutions and community holders to increase health equity and overall community impact. Member Duties : 1. Peer Mentor; Provide one on one and group mentorship to individuals, provide positive role modeling in all that you do and ensure proper boundaries and report outcome measures and complete pre post surveys. You will be entrusted with responsibilities and expected to achieve quantifiable performance goals that align with the mission of the organization. 2. Transportation; Responsible for transportation and removing obstacles and barriers to care by driving when needed. 3. Community Liaison (Volunteer Coordinator) Conduct training sessions with new volunteers to ensure they understand their roles and the organizations protocols, leverage 40+ volunteers to engage in hands on learning opportunities, interview and enlist volunteers by placing them in different roles and events based on their qualifications, plan and organize events, act as primary point of contact with volunteers, track and schedule all volunteer activities and individual tutoring and mentoring.
