Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer - Java/Selenium

Role Overview : As a Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer at PREVAJ, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our digital solutions. Working remotely, you will be responsible for creating and executing test cases, conducting both manual and software testing, and implementing robust QA automation processes. Your expertise will be instrumental in delivering high-quality products to our clients. Key Responsibilities : - Design, create, and execute comprehensive test cases to validate software functionality, performance, and user experience. - Conduct manual testing activities, including functional, regression, integration, and system testing, to identify defects and ensure product quality. - Develop and maintain efficient automation frameworks using Selenium Java, Gradle, Spring, BDD, and REST Assured to streamline testing processes. - Integrate automation frameworks into CI/CD pipelines (Git workflow, YAML, Azure Pipeline) to enable continuous testing and delivery. - Accurately track, report, and manage defects using bug tracking tools, collaborating with development teams to resolve issues promptly. - Conduct performance testing to assess application scalability, responsiveness, and load capacity. - Provide guidance and mentorship to junior QA team members, fostering a collaborative and knowledge sharing environment. - Keep abreast of the latest QA methodologies, tools, and technologies to maintain proficiency and drive innovation. Required Skills and Experience : - Proven experience in Selenium Java for automated testing. - Proficiency in Gradle build automation tool. - Solid understanding of Spring framework, BDD principles, and REST Assured for API testing. - Experience in CI/CD pipelines, particularly Git workflow and YAML configuration. - Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, testing types, and defect management processes. - Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills. - Effective communication and collaboration skills. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - Certifications in QA or Software Testing (e.g., ISTQB) are a plus. - Experience working in Agile development environments.
