Your responsibilities

• Payment Processing: Assist with processing payments, issuing invoices, creating pro forma invoices, and handling refunds to support smooth financial transactions with clients and suppliers
• Support in Compensation Claims
• Provide support in the process of reconciling received compensation claims
• Assist in overseeing truck leasing agreements to learn about financial efficiency and asset management
• Accounting Support
• Offer general accounting support, including bookkeeping, basic financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations
• Transaction Management
• Assist with transactions related to simplified cards and help settle business trip expenses to ensure accurate and compliant financial operations
• Tax Declarations
• Actively participate in preparing tax declarations, such as the transport tax
• Finance Communication: Address inquiries and cases received through the company
• Finance-specific communication channels, like the Finance.pl mailbox, to provide timely and accurate financial information and support

Our requirements

• Student or recent graduate of finance, accounting, or a related field
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Basic knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
• Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks
• Proficiency in English at a minimum B1 level
• This role is a fixed-term role - 6 months with the possibility to be extended.

Boekestijn Transport Service was started in 1994 in Mill, Netherlands. In those days there were three Boekestijn trucks on the road.
