Medical Laboratory Technician - (Med Lab Tech - MLT)


StartDate: ASAP
Available Shifts: 8 D
Pay Rate: $2300.00 - $2650.00



MT/ MLT needed asap
Required - Reading/reporting gram stains, GeneXpert, blood cultures, microbiology specimen processing.
Preferred - other microbiology experience including setting up microbiology susceptibilities on automated instruments.
Medical Technologist - Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or related science and successful completion of an approved Medical Technology internship program, OR
Medical Laboratory Technician - High school diploma or equivalent. Associate degree in a laboratory science (chemical or biological science) or medical laboratory technology from an accredited college or university and completion of a clinical laboratory internship preferred.
Certification/Licensure:
Certified as an MT/MLS or MLT by one of the National Commission of Health Certifying Agencies or by an agency recognized by the Hawaii Department of Health Laboratories Branch.
State license as a Technologist or Technician.
Skills:
Ability to communicate effectively in English, both in verbal and written form.
Ability to work effectively both independently and with a team.
Excellent customer service skills.
