Mon – Fri 0700 – 1500
Your Role:
You will oversee the mechanical upkeep, overhaul, and repair of our crane equipment, ensuring high-level bay maintenance. Your hands-on approach will also extend to general production line maintenance during downtime.
Responsibilities:
• Uphold Health, Safety, and Environmental standards in compliance with our IMS procedures and PPE guidelines.
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on Overhead Travelling Cranes.
• Perform high-quality mechanical repairs based on existing schematics within set timelines.
• Contribute to the design and production of spare parts for cranes.
• Engage in the refurbishment of current machinery.
• Actively participate in Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives, enhancing safety and cleanliness within the Crane Maintenance Team.
• Perform additional duties in Workshops, auxiliary plants, and during downshifts as needed.
• Carry out Safety audits and Risk assessments in accordance with our Safety Plan.
• Working as part of a team to carry out planned maintenance, fault finding, repairs, breakdowns and installation on site EOT cranes
Requirements:
• Experience in heavy industry
• Comfortable at working at height
• Up to date with health and safety regs
• Time served mechanical apprenticeship or equivalent
