Job Description
We have an excellent opportunity for a Lecturer to join us delivering high quality education in Electrical Installation.
We are committed to delivering high-quality education to a diverse range of learners. We are seeking a passionate and skilled Electrical Lecturer who will contribute to the planning, delivery, assessment, and internal verification of Electrical programmes, including 18th Edition and 2365 qualifications.
Duties include:
Deliver course programs at all levels, including preparing work and assessments for college and workplace settings.
Manage student responsibilities such as interviews, pre-course assessments, enrolment, induction, pastoral care, and progress reviews.
Participate in curriculum development, marketing, and the introduction of new courses.
Contribute to quality assurance requirements for course programs.
Liaise with external agencies such as validating bodies, employers, and placement providers.
Stay updated in the subject area for personal and professional development.
Identify and prioritise self-training needs in line with the strategic plan.
For this role we are looking for people who meet the following criteria:
Degree-level qualification in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
Current teaching qualification meeting national standards.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with diverse audiences.
Awareness and application of health and safety practices.
Experience working in the Electrical industry.
