Trainee Management Accountant

• Salary: up to 25,000 p.a. plus study support

We are seeking an Accountancy graduate to join our client, in a trainee position offering excellent development and progression opportunity. This developmental role is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start their career in accounting with a successful manufacturing company. The role involves a variety of responsibilities within the Finance Team and offers a pathway to professional growth, including funding towards relevant qualifications. While starting off with daily transactional duties including processing invoices and sales orders, training will be given and progression offered to more senior responsibilities within management accounting including preparing reporting and figures to drive financial performance.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Prepare the Sales & Margin flash report daily.
• Handle daily reception duties, including telephone and post.
• Provide cover for the Accounts Payable & Sales Order processing functions.
• Prepare site Management Accounts weekly
• Participate in Financial Process Improvement projects as part of a team.
• Perform ad hoc duties, including holiday cover.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Ideally have minimum of one year's accounting or office-based experience.
• A degree in Accountancy.
• High-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel due to the management accounting responsibilities.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Enthusiasm for learning and professional development
