Architectural Technologist

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced architectural technician to join our growing team based at our head office in Winchester, Hampshire. The role will involve engaging with multiple departments across the business providing design, technical and planning input.

Main Duties:

· Assist with the preparation of land bids providing design, technical and planning input. Identify constraints to inform early site layouts to enable land valuations.

· Producing and amending planning house type layouts and other design drawings and documentation.

· Coordination and production of construction information (prelim, tender and construction detailing).

· Production and submission of Building Regulation application and management of thereafter.

· Coordination and issuing of construction information to site.

· Coordination of associated consultants / disciplines.

· Managing projects on site, handling queries as they arise, attending site meetings and other liaison as required.

· Production of contract, legal and conveyancing drawings.

· Handling post-completion issues and providing technical input into customer care issues.

Essential Skills / Attributes:

· Previous experience in a housebuilder's design and technical department (not essential but preferable).

· 5 GCSEs grade 5(/C) or above including Maths and English.

· Relevant degree or equivalent qualification.

· Minimum five years’ experience.

· Computer / IT literate with ability to use Excel and Word.

· Ability to use AutoCAD competently.
