We are in the process of helping our client in identifying Kafka Specialist, this is a Fulltime role in Chennai and it is Work from Home find details about the role and reply with your updated resume to take it forward for Specialist Job Type : Full Time Job Positions : 2 Location : Chennai (Work from Home ) Job Description : - 4-5 years of hands-on experience with Apache Kafka architecture, including brokers, Zookeeper, producers, consumers, and Kafka Streams. - Strong understanding of distributed systems, data streaming concepts, and event-driven architecture. - Proficient in configuring and managing Kafka clusters, including broker setup, topic creation, replication, and partitioning strategies. - Experience with Kafka Connect and integration with other data processing tools like Spark, Flume, Hadoop, or Elasticsearch. - Hands-on experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Kafka Manager to track performance and reliability metrics. - Familiarity with message formats like Avro, Protobuf, or JSON. - Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix environments and scripting languages like Bash, Python, or Shell. - Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud and container orchestration tools like Docker or Kubernetes is a plus. - Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation frameworks. - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues in distributed environments. - Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment. Preferred Qualifications : - Kafka certification or equivalent hands-on training. - Experience with Kafka Security features (encryption, authentication, authorization). - Familiarity with real-time data analytics platforms.
