Senior Underwriter

Senior Life and Disability Underwriter:

Fully remote/hybrid working, office in Devon if you prefer office working. 35 hours per week. Open to 4 days a week or 10 in 9 days etc.

Up to £55,000 + bonus

Required skills:

• Substandard cases and financial underwriting
• Individual not group experience
• Private medical insurance
• Approving all new business

Experience:

• Underwriting experience
• Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise with colleagues, medical professionals
• Ability to follow underwriting guidelines but also use experience to obtain best outcomes for members
• Understanding of the insurance industry
