Job Description
Job Title: GCSE English Lecturer
Location: Richmond College
Are you an experienced English lecturer looking to make a meaningful impact in education? A Richmond-based institution is seeking a dedicated GCSE English Lecturer for a part-time role, with approximately 19 hours of teaching per week and additional administrative responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality GCSE English lessons to students, supporting their academic progress and preparing them for exams.
Complete administrative tasks related to teaching, including assessments, grading, and preparing materials.
Be available to cover additional classes when required, including during staff absences.
Collaborate with the teaching team to ensure a smooth and effective delivery of the curriculum.
Required Experience and Skills:
Relevant teaching qualifications and experience in delivering GCSE English courses.
Strong knowledge of the GCSE English curriculum and a proven ability to deliver engaging lessons.
Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage both teaching and administrative duties.
Additional Information:
The role offers approximately 19 hours of teaching per week, with the remaining time paid at an administrative rate.
This is a temporary ongoing position, with the possibility of additional hours to cover staff absences.
