Location: Smethwick
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000
Overview:
First Military Recruitment are currently seeking Assistant Production Manager a on behalf of one of our clients. The successful candidate will support the current senior management team with the day-to-day production shop floor operational issues to ensure the highest quality and customer service at the lowest cost.
Duties and Responsibilities:
To assist senior management to ensure daily production plans are met.
To conduct daily shopfloor meetings with production team leaders.
To generate shift reports for senior managers.
To assist in resolving production shop floor issues.
To be responsible for issuing and collecting daily production plans to the relevant teams.
To assist with handling shop floor personnel issues.
To assist with conducting staff disciplinary and grievance matters.
To assist in encouraging a positive and work focused culture within the production areas.
To assist with ensuring the highest hygiene and housekeeping standards
Skills and Qualifications:
Enthusiastic and positive approach.
A mature graduate would be preferable.
Excellent planning, organisational and communication skills.
Proven leadership experience within a food environment would be preferable.
Computer literate.
Must be responsible, committed and positive.
