Key Stage 1 Teacher

Hours of Work: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM, Term Time

Pay: £160-£210 per day

Location: Islington

Job Type: Full Time, Long Term

About the role:

As a KS1 Teacher, you will play a key role in shaping young minds during a critical stage of their development. You’ll be responsible for delivering engaging, creative lessons that inspire curiosity and foster a love for learning. We’re looking for someone who is not only passionate about education but is also dedicated to creating a warm, inclusive classroom where every child feels valued and supported. You will have the autonomy to design dynamic lessons while being fully supported by our experienced leadership team. Our classrooms are equipped with the latest technology to aid teaching, and our collaborative planning sessions ensure that you never feel isolated in your efforts.

Application Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

• Experience working within the KS1 framework.

• A proven track record of delivering engaging and effective lessons.

• A commitment to ongoing professional development and a love for innovative teaching.

• A passion for inclusive education and a desire to support every pupil’s success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver exciting and creative lessons aligned with the KS1 curriculum.

• Foster a nurturing, stimulating, and positive classroom environment.

• Monitor and assess student progress, ensuring each child reaches their full potential.

• Work closely with parents, support staff, and fellow teachers to ensure holistic development.

• Contribute to the broader life of the school, including extra-curricular activities and school events.
