Fire & Security Engineer

We're looking for a Fire Alarm Engineer to join the team as our order book is expanding! Working on social housing contracts, primarily working on existing conventional / addressable systems, testing, fault finding and repair. New installation work will also be part of the role, along with emergency lighting testing. The position is full time Monday to Friday 8.30 - 4.30. Additional hours available also.

You must be hard working and committed to delivering change. You must be computer literate and be able to fill out in-depth reports in a timely manor.

Requirements:

* Working as part of a team and be able to work alone (must)

* DBS Certificate (must - can be obtained separately)

* IPAF (desirable)

* PASMA (desirable)

* Punctual, polite and approachable (must)

* CSCS (must - can be obtained separately)

* Asbestos Awareness (must - can be obtained separately)

* Gold Card (desirable)

* Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations

* BS 5839-1 (must)

* Protec experience (good understanding)

* Kentec experience (good understanding)

* C-tec experience (good understanding)

* ESP (good understanding)

* Advanced (good understanding)

* CFP (good understanding)

* Experience in emergency lighting testing (good understanding)
