Location: Hertford office, 5 days a week (must be within 1 hour of Hertford)

Due to their ongoing success, they are expanding their Hertfordshire-based team and seeking Junior Java Developers with 1-3 years of experience.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Junior Java Developer early in their career, looking for an exciting challenge to grow professionally and personally.

Requirements for Junior Java Developer:

• BSc in Computer Science from a Russell Group University
• 1-3 years of commercial experience with Java and web application development
• Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices
• Experience with cloud hosting (e.g., AWS)
• Familiarity with containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
• Knowledge of build tools (e.g., Maven, Gradle)
• Understanding of XML or JSON
• Experience with at least one J2EE container (e.g., Tomcat)
• Bonus: Frontend experience (e.g., React, Angular, Vue)

You will be working in a modern, agile, and supportive office environment five days a week, alongside a talented team of engineers, including former Google engineers.

As a Junior Java Developer, you will:

• Develop REST and SOAP web services
• Collaborate with technical architects and development managers
• Contribute to testing, configuration, and release processes
• Participate in design and implementation decisions
• Continuously learn new technologies
