Early Years Foundation Stage Teacher

Hours of Work: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM, Term Time

Pay: £160-£210 per day

Location: Harrow

Job Type: Full Time, Long Term

About the role:

As an EYFS Teacher, you’ll be playing a key role in shaping the minds of young learners, offering them a strong foundation for their future education. You will be responsible for creating an exciting and stimulating learning environment where children feel safe, happy, and ready to learn. Your main aim will be to encourage creativity and curiosity while ensuring that each child meets their developmental milestones. Working closely with a dedicated team of teachers and support staff, you’ll plan and deliver engaging lessons, ensure smooth daily routines, and maintain strong communication with parents and caregivers. Your classroom will be a place of wonder, exploration, and discovery, where each child’s unique talents are nurtured and celebrated.

Application Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

• Experience teaching within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

• Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and early childhood development.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Passion for fostering a love of learning in young children.

• A positive, proactive approach to classroom management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons following the EYFS framework.

• Create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment that promotes curiosity and development.

• Support children’s personal, social, and emotional growth, providing tailored guidance as needed.

• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, parents, and other staff to ensure each child’s progress.

• Regularly assess and monitor students’ development, adapting teaching strategies accordingly.
