Assistant Accountant

This role is a fantastic opportunity for a bright, financially astute and experienced accounting professional. You will be working with the Finance Manager and the wider management team to deliver accurate and precise transactional finance support, and best commercial practice to drive this growing business forward! Working with team members across the UK, but also reporting in to be the European Head Office, you will be the sort of person who is always looking for better and more efficient ways of doing things!
This company are looking for enthusiasm, an excellent understanding of the accounting process demonstrated through experience, plenty of initiative and tonnes of positive energy! Sage 50 and MS Excel experience will be a distinct advantage.
Job duties will include;

• Cash flow forecasting
  Daily bank reconciliations
  Accounts payable (3 way matching) & receivable
• Monitoring and management of company and employee expenses and petty cash
• Processing employee mileage and expense claims
• Month-end support
• Support and assistance with the production of reports and management accounting packs

There are plenty of opportunities for progression…… and this role will suit a QBE or an AAT or ACCA qualified/studier (although this role is full-time, and they will not be able to free you up for college attendance).
This role is office based and in a rural location (so you will need to have your own transport), full-time, permanent and comes with a generous holiday allowance.
