Mobile Digital Product Owner

Salary: National £55,000 - £65,000 / London £65,000 - £75,000

This role would suit someone who is energised by using data and insight to identify and articulate both new features and optimisation opportunities to increase and enhance the online capability within our authenticated customer digital environment.

A bit about the job:

You'll be delivering a brilliant mobile experience for our customers, with a primary focus on our multi-year app consolidation program into the MyAviva app. You will play a key role in owning, shaping, and delivering an ambitious backlog, while monitoring, maintaining, and enhancing digital experiences that offer self-service value to millions of customers.

In this role, you will interact with a variety of digital disciplines and delivery teams, ensuring digital product changes go live successfully for customers. A strong data-driven mindset is essential, as you will be responsible for demonstrating the business and customer benefits generated through these changes.

Your key responsibilities will include identifying new features and customer journey optimisation opportunities, driving work items for development into product backlogs, and supporting prioritisation decisions. You will collaborate closely with engineering teams, digital product teams, business stakeholders, and potentially external third parties, using analytic tools to understand and optimise user journeys for better customer outcomes.

Skills and experience we're looking for:
  • Experience in managing digital product roadmaps, experience delivering mobile applications and having excellent communication and presentation skills is essential
  • Experience in driving return users to digital platforms
  • Effective use of data to identify customer experience and business value enhancement opportunities, and measure and report on outcomes
  • Collaborative approach to working with digital disciplines to design and deliver high-performing and accessible digital products
  • Ability to translate business requirements into digital product solutions and articulate delivery plans and progress to stakeholders

  • Starting salary between £55,000 - £65,000 for National based candidates or £65,000 - £75,000 for candidates based in London (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
