About the role: We seek an enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to support students with ADHD, ASD, PMLD, and MLD across KS1 and KS2. The school boasts excellent SEN resources, creating a supportive and engaging environment where every child can thrive. In this role, you will work closely with students in both one-on-one and group settings, assisting with their learning, personal development, and emotional well-being. You’ll collaborate with teachers and SEN specialists to create tailored support strategies while helping to foster a positive, nurturing environment where children with special educational needs can thrive.

Application Requirements:

• Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (preferred).
• Experience with ADHD, ASD, PMLD, or MLD is beneficial.
• Passionate about making a positive impact on young learners.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide targeted support to students with ADHD, ASD, PMLD, and MLD, adapting approaches to suit individual needs.
• Assist in developing and implementing personalized learning plans in collaboration with teachers and SEN specialists.
• Monitor and document student progress, offering feedback to teachers and parents to ensure continuous development.
• Promote positive behavior and social interaction through encouragement and structured activities.
• Support the emotional well-being of students, helping them build confidence and independence in a nurturing environment.
