About The Position
Unit: Interventional/Cardiac/Vascular Shifts: Days (with varied times), either 8 or 10hr shifts, 40 hr weekly. Call 1-2 days per week, and about q3-4, weekend, call does include Holidays. Required to take call. Documentation EMR: Meditech Monitoring: Sensis Equipment: Siemens Labs: 2 Call Team: 4 person call team Procedures: IR, Vascular, and Cardiac. Demonstrates basic knowledge of diagnostic and interventional cardiology, cardiovascular, and interventional radiology procedures. Also demonstrates basic understanding of Computerized Tomography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Ultrasound and Nuclear Medicine procedures.Demonstrates appropriate application of specialized skills for patients undergoing angiography procedures, cardiac cath procedures, pacemakers and IABP insertion. Also demonstrates application of specialized skills involved in hemodynamic monitoring. Maintains basic understanding of radiology equipment and image processing, as well as maintaining basic knowledge of Computerized Tomography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Ultrasound and Nuclear Medicine procedures Minimum 2 years of experience in an interventional cath lab. Certification: BLS
