Database Administrator - MySQL/RDBMS

Role : DB Administrator Work Location : Mumbai (Preferred), Delhi (Alternate) Relevant Experience : 8-10 Years Qualification : Graduate (BE/MCA or Graduation from Science Stream) Notice Period : Immediate joiners (max 30 days notice period) Professional Experience : - Good Hands-on experience on Database Administration, Management & Tuning Activities deployed on Hybrid Landscape (Physical or Virtual). - Will be responsible for installations, configuration, upgrades, management & troubleshooting of DB related issues. - Undertake periodic DB maintenance jobs/activities as per defined proactive schedules. - Hands-on experience on DB version Upgrades including installation of Patches & troubleshooting on Databases RDBMS/MS SQL/MySQL on Windows/Linux platform as applicable. - Periodic monitoring of Database Growth and Storage Capacity planning. - Basic understanding on Backup Methods SQL Native, Third Party (Centralized) including managing the same. - Basic working experience on Windows OS, Windows Cluster, Active Directory & troubleshooting basic issues & incidents. - Should be aware of IT Service Management (ITSM) process including Incident/Problem/Change Management. - Basic working knowledge of any ITSM (Ticketing) Applications & System Monitoring Tool. - Adept at handling day-to-day administrative activities in coordination with internal /external Traits : - Good Communication skills. - Effective Team Player. - Role will involve working with Cross Functional Teams. - Achievement oriented with ability to manage change with ease & work to goals. - Be able to efficiently prioritize and complete multiple tasks within a given schedule. - Quick learner with good execution capabilities.
