Compliance Sanctions Officer

SKILLS/PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED - Minimum Grade 12 or matric certificate - Relevant Compliance related qualification. - A Diploma in Compliance will be an added advantage. - 3 years relevant experience within the Financial Services Industry. - Attention to detail. - Ability to work on Microsoft word, PowerPoint and excel. - Ability to work effectively within a team and the ability to work under pressure. - Ability to work after hours if there is a need to do so for short periods. - Possess analytical skills to ensure compliance of the clients clients. Knowledge and understanding of sections 28, 29, 31, 32, and 34 of the Financial Intelligence Centre ("FIC") Act ("FICA"), along with Directives 3 and 5 (and related public compliance communications ("PCCs") issued by the FIC. - Prior experience in sanctions and screening conducted.
