Senior Energy Manager

Salary - Circa £65,000

If you have experience in managing complex energy projects and want to help Aviva achieve its Net Zero ambitions, this role could be a perfect fit.

A bit about the job:

As part of Aviva's Energy and Carbon team, you will play a critical role in shaping and delivering Aviva's energy strategy across its UK and Ireland sites. You will manage energy procurement, lead energy project development, and ensure the delivery of our legal and elective compliance with programmes including RE100 and ESOS. You'll also be responsible for supporting Aviva's Net Zero Operations programme, working closely with various stakeholders and suppliers to meet sustainability targets and operational efficiency.

Skills and experience we're looking for:
  • Strong expertise in energy efficiency in commercial buildings.
  • Excellent knowledge of energy procurement and renewable energy projects.
  • Experience in M&E plant and environmental legislation compliance.
  • Proven ability to manage complex energy projects and budgets.
  • Strong communication skills with senior stakeholders and ability to present complex data clearly.

  • Salary - Circa £65,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
