Pricing Analyst

Salary £27,000 - £35,000

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Pricing Analyst to join our supportive and tenacious Large Corporate Pricing team. This is a great job for someone who is numerically astute, has an interest in Health Insurance and wants to make a difference working for the UK's leading Insurance, Wealth and Retirement businesses!

A bit about the job:

Working as a Pricing Analyst within Private Medical Insurance, you will be on hand to support a team of three pricing managers in the analysis, documentation and developing proposals for pricing and underwriting new and existing propositions as well as setting the approach for large scheme specific decisions. You will also provide ad-hoc analysis to support scheme specific technical pricing recommendations or decisions (linked to delegated authorities) and assist in the maintenance and development of financial metrics in plan.

Skills and experience we're looking for:
  • Has demonstrated understanding of the use of financial formulae, techniques, and principles.
  • Strong communication, numerical and analytical skills.
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel at an intermediate level.
  • Self-starting, able to operate autonomously, good at problem solving and be able to juggle different priorities.
  • Relevant work experience in a Finance / commercial role is preferable but not essential
