We have an exciting opportunity for an Audiovisual Graduate or Consultant to join our London office, and work as part of the largest independent consulting engineering firm of its kind.

As the largest within the firm, our London office has a broad and far-reaching experience covering all sectors. It’s a real hive of activity, home to both MEP engineers and a variety of other specialist groups including the Audiovisual team.


You will join a talented, dynamic, and diverse team of designers, engineers, and technical specialists with a unique working culture. Our team is large enough to work on large national and international schemes yet agile enough to allow significant talent growth and career progression.


This opportunity is for a driven and motivated individual with knowledge of CAD and Revit, and an interest in Audiovisual and / or ICT systems to work with the Audiovisual team as part of the wider Intelligent Buildings Group. You will work as part of our growing team to deliver a wide range of exceptional projects across a range of sectors. We’re looking for an energetic and creative individual who is excited to learn as they assist the team with project delivery.


You may be required to travel occasionally but will primarily be based in our Kings Cross London office. The role


Depending on experience you will design or assist the production of Audiovisual drawings, details, rack layouts, schematics, AV system concepts and produce high quality drawing & design packages. You will coordinate closely with the ICT, Acoustics, and Electrical teams and attend Design Team Meetings for various projects.


As the industry increasingly shifts to 3D design collaboration tools, you will be required to work in a 3D environment, using a combination of Revit, CAD and SketchupPro.


What we are looking for


  • 1+ year of CAD and Revit experience is required.
  • An interest in Audiovisual technology and staying up to date on industry developments is required.
  • Experience in the Audiovisual field or related discipline is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong organisation skills and the ability to manage and prioritise workload and deadlines.
  • A basic understanding of ICT networking & containment is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Flexibility to adjust approach to tasks and deliverables based upon project requirements.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office applications is essential for this role.
  • Qualifications are flexible but experience and personality are of primary importance to us. CTS accreditation, or any manufacturer AV training (e.g. QSC, Crestron) is desirable but not required.
