Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Social Media Specialist to join our team and lead the growth of our social media communities across multiple platforms, in alignment with our business objectives and driving significant global brand awareness.

In this role, you’ll play a pivotal part in shaping our social and influencer strategy, creating and delivering engaging content, and fostering world-class community engagement to elevate our brand presence.

The Details

• Develop and implement social media strategies that align with our growth objectives, with a focus on boosting brand awareness and driving traffic.
• You'll manage content planning, posting, and scheduling, ensuring our social media calendar remains dynamic and vibrant with consistent activity across all platforms.
• Collaborate in campaign planning to ensure all initiatives align with Kurt Geiger’s brand ethos and objectives.
• Track and analyse social media performance, providing regular reports on KPIs such as engagement, reach, follower growth, and traffic. Use insights to optimize future campaigns.
• Experiment with new platform features, trends, and tools to keep our strategies fresh and ahead of the curve.
• Work hand-in-hand with our Senior Social Media Manager to amplify our campaigns and boost engagement.
• Manage organic boosting for Instagram and TikTok, collaborating closely with the paid social team to build audiences and enhance engagement campaigns
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, marketing, and PR, to ensure cohesive messaging across campaigns, product launches and events.
• Adapt content for each platform, ensuring messaging, visuals, and formats are optimized for audience and platform nuances.
• Create curated lists of influencers to support organic seeding campaigns, while managing send-outs, inventory, and samples
• Most importantly, you'll embody the Kurt Geiger tone of voice in everything you do, making sure our content is always on-brand and resonates with our customers
• Monitor brand mentions and manage community engagement, responding to comments and messages, and maintaining positive customer interactions.

About You

• You have a bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
• You have previous experience as a Social Media Specialist, preferably within the fashion industry.
• You are results-driven, with sharp analytical skills—transforming data into actionable insights that power our campaign strategies.
• Proficiency in social media tools and analytics platforms like Dash Hudson, Tribe Dynamics, Iconosquare, Sprout Social, and Google Analytics.
• You live and breathe social media, understanding the key differences between each platform and having a passion for exploring trends
• You possess excellent creative thinking and communication skills, along with a talent for crafting on-brand messaging.
• You have a strong affinity for processes and take pride in your exceptional organisational skills
• You don't shy away from a challenge and excel when managing diverse projects in a fast-paced environment.
• You are adept at staying updated on platform changes, trends, and algorithm updates, ensuring strategies remain relevant and effective.
• You can manage crisis and negative brand mentions, with a clear plan for handling social media challenges professionally.
