Job Title : Sr.Solution Architect - Cloud Migration and Modernization Location : Bangalore About CAST - CAST is the software intelligence category leader. - CAST technology can see inside custom applications with MRIlike precision, automatically generating intelligence about their inner workings - composition, architecture,transaction flows, cloud readiness, structural flaws, legal and security risks. - It's becoming essential for faster modernization for cloud, raising the speed and efficiency of Software Engineering, better open-source risk control, and accurate technical due diligence. - CAST operates globally with offices in North America, Europe, Job Summary : - The chosen person will be a hands-on, organized and highly energetic self-starter with proven ability to design solution, product implementation, enhance custom features and solutions, to do detailed analysis of results and do customer presentations. As a Sr.Architect-Modernization, you are an integral part of a skilled team that works to enhance and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. As a core technical contributor, you are responsible for conducting critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various Cloud migration and Modernization functions in support of the firm's business objectives Responsibilities : - Working closely with Sr Director-PS and Consulting and Globally with Solution Design Team, he/she will be responsible for success of the CAST product deployment with the assigned clients. - This success will be in part measured by the ability of deployed CAST solution to support the client in analysis of a wide variety of their applications developed in diverse technologies that are prevalent in a typical software house. - He/She should be able to mentor and coach customer team members in deploying and running CAST solution,prepare action plans based on CAST analysis results, help customers in realizing business benefits of CAST implementation in a time-bound manner and prioritize activities in an ever changing, dynamic landscape. - He/she will need to focus efforts to establish a value measurement program to track and identify business value for identified projects to use a template approach to drive value in engagement the clients involved and thereby, help support sales teams in renewals and expansions of the contracts that they support. Requirements : The candidate shall below skills and qualifications : - Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 10 years of applied experience. - Proficient in coding in one or more languages like Java, Spring & Spring Boot. - Hands-on experience in AWS/Azure/GCP specifically ECS/EKS, Lambda, SQS, SNS, API Gateway, Step functions, storage services or similar skills - Experience working in Kafka, Cassandra/NoSQL, relational databases and front end technologies like React or similar skills - Knowledge of CI/CD deployment with tools such as Jenkins, Maven or Gradle. - Practical cloud native experience. - Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability. - Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages. - Business Development Skills: Should have inclination to business development and be comfortable in interacting with clients and making ad-hoc presentations, as needed. Other qualifications : - Cloud certification in atleast one of the CSPs - Experience leading a modernization or cloud journey - Bachelors / master's Technical Degree from one of India's premier technology institutes such as IIT or NIT is a plus. - Around 9 to 12 years of work experience in leading software organizations with some experience in product companies and also some experience as Lead/ Solution Architect. - Strong knowledge of the Application modernization and Cloud Migration is mandatory. - Experience in pre-sales / post sales products / solutions offerings preferably through past experiences including but not limited to working on partner COTS products, creation of joint offerings, RFI/RFPs cycle, deal defense and smart prospecting. - Willingness and ability to travel locally in India (ref:hirist.tech)
