Senior Data Scientist - Machine Learning & Predictive Modeling

Role : Sr. Data Scientist. Designation : Sr. Data Scientist. Experience : 3-5 years. Location : Panjim, Goa. Key Responsibilities : REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS : - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field. - 3 years of experience in data science or a related field. - Knowledge of analytics language Python is a must Experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries. - Knowledge of statistical analysis and modeling techniques. - Experience with data visualization tools Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Understanding of business intelligence and data warehousing concepts. Key Responsibilities : Data Analysis & Insights : - Analyse large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and valuable insights that inform business strategy. - Write optimized, ePicient queries, with familiarity in various database types, including SQL and NoSQL. - Preferred experience in managing Postgres or similar SQL databases. Machine Learning & Predictive Modeling : - Develop, validate, and optimize machine learning algorithms to improve data driven solutions. - Experience in building forecasting models is a plus. - Familiarity with classic machine learning algorithms as well as deep learning models and frameworks like TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, PyTorch. Data Architecture : - Demonstrate proficiency in quickly learning and adopting new technologies within the data domain. - Experience in building ETL and reverse ETL data pipelines. - Ability to work with various cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. - Proven experience in developing, managing, and deploying custom or open source applications in production using Docker and Kubernetes. - Ability to write clean, maintainable code adhering to software engineering best practices, including CI/CD. - Experience with tools like Apache NiFi, Airflow, and dbt is preferred. - Familiarity with Cube.js and data visualization tools like Superset. - Perform data cleaning, transformation, and feature engineering for analysis and modelling - Ensure data integrity and quality by implementing best practices in data governance.
