UK Hotel Country Manager or Regional General Manager (over 10 hotels) - UK and Scotland


An International hospitality group that owns and manages 4 and 5 star hotels from the Middle East to Europe, Africa, and the Caribbean seeks a Country Manager or Regional General Manager to oversee 10+ hotels in UK and Scotland.


This role will be based in Glasgow, Scotland and will report to the CEO of the Group who is based in Europe.


The Country Manager will be responsible for the smooth running of all the hotels’ operations and sales & marketing. For this role, we seek a highly energetic person with a strong positive thinking attitude, possess UK experience, and an exceptional communicator.


You must be customer and business oriented, be a strong leader, define, implement and maintain the highest standards of guest service. You must also be actively involved in executing revenue strategies and keep aware of new trends and systems.


A graduate with a degree in hospitality, the candidate will be well presented and be able to demonstrate a solid career path, proven success and relevant experience in one of the top International luxury groups.


Mandatory requirements for this role include:


  • Candidate must presently be located in UK. and have legal employment rites for UK and Scotland
  • Strong experience in Operations, Sales & Marketing and Finance.
  • Down to earth person to deal with all property General Managers.
  • A good trainer.
  • Must be willing to be based in Glasgow, Scotland.
  • Minimum of 5 years as General Manager of a full service limited service hotel.


You must also have the ability to develop and establish business policies, playing a lead role in determining strategic goals and objectives for the group’s properties. Proven track record in making sound business decisions, having solid leadership skills, as well as experience in creating and implementing processes that result in quality business performance are important requirements for this post.
