About the Role
This intermediate level role will involve working as part of a Project team based on a client site 3 days a week in the Milton Keynes area. It would suit a candidate who is establishing their career within the manufacturing industry, with experience of successfully managing and supporting projects. These roles will be based in the Milton Keynes area.
- Prepare for, co-ordinate and support project milestone meetings
- Liaise with internal engineering teams to:
-Share project information
-Progress engineering concern resolution
-Facilitate cross-functional problem solving
-Manage project manpower against budgets
-Support production builds
- Day to day discussion with production plants regarding current and future projects
- Responding to Product Planning and Marketing department requests for model changes
- Preparing, developing, improving and monitoring of project master schedules
- Tracking, monitoring and reporting on assigned tasks using Project Management standard tools}
- (e.g. task tracker, risk register, lessons learnt, 1 page report)
- Provide added value through identification and implementation of process improvements
- Management of ad-hoc project requests as allowable by workload constraints
About You
We are looking for a candidate who has:
- A degree in an Engineering related course, e.g. Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or Motorsport Engineering
- Previous experience (1 year+) of working in the manufacturing industry, including internships or placement years.
- Strong analytical skills, with good attention to detail
- Previous use of other tools (eg: Excel, Tableau, MS Project, Planisware etc) advantageous but not mandatory
- Good communication skills as you’ll be client facing and working with project stakeholders
- Planning/PMO/Coordination/Project Leading
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Willingness to take ownership and responsibility of tasks from a early stage
