Job Description

Founded in 2008, Enhanced Music is responsible for some of contemporary dance music’s most loved releases, with a roster of talent that spans Billboard-charting headliners through to tastemaker-tipped underground gems. Enhanced’s global reputation is of a “label that delivers tune, after tune” – Mixmag.

With millions of downloads, billions of streams and accolades including Gold and Platinum selling releases, countless US Dance Top Ten Airplay songs, and numerous Beatport #1 charting records, Enhanced has consistently delivered an ever-expansive array of genre-defining releases, and as we celebrate 15 years of the label, “music sounds better when it’s Enhanced” (Mixmag) has never rung truer.

We are now looking for Graphic Design Intern with a desire to work within the Music Industry to join our fast-growing team in London on a part-time basis. Reporting directly to our Graphic Designer, the successful candidate will work as an important member of the Marketing division and be responsible for creating and delivering assets for our 5 labels: Enhanced Recordings, Enhanced Progressive, Colorize, Enhanced Chill & Shapes of Solitude.

Here's what you’ll do:

  • Label Templates: You will learn how to create template artworks and ‘release assets’ (such as social banners, pack-shot animations, Spotify Canvas etc) for our 4 labels. In time, you will become solely responsible for creating these.
  • Assist the Graphic Designer with asset creation for our roster of priority artists. This will range from editing long form video for our Radio Shows, through to creating engaging and on-brand social media assets for the wider marketing team to use.
  • Attend and assist with photo & video shoots, using your creative eye to ensure that all deliverables are of the highest standard and in line with relevant artist/ label branding.
  • You will liaise regularly with the Director, Head of Marketing & Graphic Designer to ensure that company branding is always adhered to.

These are things we need you to have:

  • Strong knowledge of the full Adobe Creative Suite is essential. Particularly Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere Pro & Illustrator.
  • An innate passion for music & art. If you love Dance & Electronic music as much as we do, that will help!
  • A portfolio of your previous work - applications without this will not be considered. We particularly want to see how good your ‘eye’ is for creating striking and unique works of art, as well as work that demonstrates your Adobe Suite skills.
  • Impeccable attention to detail. You notice if elements aren’t aligned properly in a composition and spot things like spelling mistakes, audio glitches or formatting errors.
  • Great organisation & time-management skills. You can juggle multiple projects simultaneously and successfully meet deadlines.
  • The right attitude. A strong, healthy team culture is paramount to everything we do at Enhanced and is the foundation of our success. We need you to be positive & pragmatic to fit in with our lovely team.

These are things we’d like you have:

  • Currently undertaking a Design/ Art related higher education course.
  • Strong understanding of digital formats and how people consume content via social media channels (i.e. Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Spotify, etc).
  • An awareness of Enhanced, our brands and an understanding of the scene we operate in.

Terms of Internship:

  • Candidate must be in higher education. The ideal candidate will be looking to complete a work placement as part of their degree.
  • Part-Time: Ideally 3 days per week, but we can be flexible for the right candidate.
  • We are looking for someone interested in growing into a full-time team member in time.
