You will provide quality support to factories and ensure that all technical issues are resolved quickly and efficiently. You will be the main contact for IT tasks on the Quebec sites and will be responsible for managing priorities.THE ROLE:Coordinate IT activities by planning tasks, defining priorities and directing the work of the team of Quebec technicians (2 people);Manage and evaluate team performance and provide regular feedback;Identify and implement action plans to improve processes and quality of service;Serve as primary point of contact for major issue escalations;Participate in the implementation of new technologies and support tools;Install and support all computer equipment and software;Maintain the inventory of computer equipment assigned to users;Carry out appropriate follow-ups for current projects;Liaise with key stakeholders and other support staff (internal and external);Perform regular systems maintenance tasks and ensure systems meet performance and safety standards;Work with vendors to obtain hardware/software quotes;Write operational procedures and documentation for users and technicians.YOUR PROFILEMinimum of 10 years of experience as an IT technician, including at least 2 years in team management;Perfect mastery of different operating systems (windows, iOS, Android);Good knowledge of services (DNS, DHCP, HTTP, VPN);Excellent communication, problem-solving and conflict management skills;Excellent analytical and project leadership skills;Proficiency in French and English, both oral and written;DEC type diploma in computer science;Ability to travel through our 4 factories in Quebec (2 to 3 days per week).We need people like youCome grow with NorteraWhile all job applications will be considered, only successful candidates will be contacted.
