Nortera in North America.THE ROLE:Keep documentation up to date in relation to the sterilization scales of each canning factory;Keep documentation up to date in relation to the blanching validations of each frozen food plant;Analyze and interpret the data collected during canning tests of canned products and/or validation of blanching of frozen products;Participate in various multidisciplinary projects for continuous improvement of factory processes and/or process development and/or problem resolution;Take charge of thermal deviations submitted by factories (evaluate food safety, recommend release arrangements, analyze the causes and carry out monthly monitoring of action plans to be taken at department level)Organize and prioritize canning tests in laboratory simulation of canned foods;Organize and prioritize canning tests to validate production processes;Organize and prioritize validation tests for production autoclaves;Ensure the monitoring of results through the various ongoing projects;Develop and review departmental procedures and/or specific technical training;Provide technical assistance to Nortera factories;Keep the database of tests carried out up to date.YOUR PROFILEUniversity training in Food Science and Technology, Food Engineering or equivalent;Proficiency in operational French and English, written and oral;Experience in the food industry, an asset;Experience in quality assurance/R&D;Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (Excel) and Google Apps;Spirit of analysis and synthesis;Good written and verbal communication;The main workplace is located at the head office in Brossard.
