Kennedys is looking for a Senior Business Analyst, to join the PMO sub team within our Transformation department. The role will work closely with supporting the Business Analysis Team Manager and Business Analysts in providing knowledge, experience and problem-solving skills for the delivery of projects in the firm's business change portfolio. This role will lead the analysis work on large complex strategic programmes and projects.

Team

The Portfolio Management Office (PMO) is responsible for the enterprise-wide governance and delivery of programmes and projects, working closely with other business services functions. The

PMO portfolio of work is broad and includes business process improvements, business transformation and technology implementations often working with a third party supplier or solution provider.

Key responsibilities

  • Work closely and support the Business Analysis Team Manager and Head of PMO on the best practice and delivery of business analysis services across the firm
  • Lead analysis on projects from inception through completion, in order for projects to be delivered on time, within scope, and budget
  • Lead the analysis on projects to identify business needs, gather requirements, run workshops or meetings with project stakeholders and third-party vendors to ensure outcomes are well defined and understood
  • Work with stakeholders to build comprehensive and concise documentation for projects and new initiatives, ensuring full traceability back to the businesses processes
  • Work closely with stakeholders to design and implement solutions that align with the business goals of the firm.

Required experience

  • Over 5 years' of business analysis experience working on strategic global projects with the ability to self-start, identify tasks required independently to fulfil project deliverables, and work as a key project member
  • Excellent communication and strong stakeholder management skills at all levels. With the experience to provide detailed and meaningful interpretation of information in a concise manner
  • Experience of following business analysis best practices, policies, procedures and processes with the ability to adapt them as appropriate to meet the specific needs of the project
  • Experience with process modelling including the use of appropriate modelling tools, techniques, and standards
  • Legal sector or professional services experience gained in an international firm; understanding and experience of legal business processes
  • Educated to degree level standard or equivalent
  • Business Analysis accreditation (Business Analysis/ AgileBA / Process Improvement / Lean).
