SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER – LONDON
Hartnell Taylor Cook LLP has an established client base for its Project and Development Management work, including developers, family offices, property companies, institutional and private investors and funds, as well as owner occupiers regional and national. We work across a range of property sectors in both the private and public sector.
Project Management has been an area of growth for the business and is identified as a key service line to grow and develop. We work closely with our Building Consultancy, Cost Consultancy and MEP departments, as well as our Agency & Investment and Property Management Teams.
The Senior Project Manager role is required to support the growth and development of the Project Management Department, as a key element of the Project & Building Consultancy Business Division. The role will require close working with the Project Management Partner, Robin Castle and the Divisional Head, Alex Moat, along with other senior managers across the business.
The role will be based in London but will operate nationally and across both offices, with a presence required in London and Bristol as necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sourcing and developing business contacts, opportunities and instructions for the Project Management Department and the wider business.
- Assisting with the development and implementation of new Project Management Systems and Processes as required to help drive quality and efficiency.
- Opening new opportunities within the existing client base, cross selling client business to other departments and assisting in joined-up pitches, targeted networking and business development.
- Ensure effective communication and liaison with all internal and external stakeholders, ensuring all requirements are highlighted, assessed and integrated into the project effectively
- Servicing and delivering Project Management and Development Management instructions across a range of values and sectors and managing a shared workload within the Project Management Department:
- Maintain strong working relationships to ensure an effective strategy and project delivery
- Ensure a solid understanding of budgets and estimates, with the ability to confidently review and make relevant changes to proposals
- Undertaking feasibility studies and reporting to clients.
- Ensure a robust understanding of risk management, with the confidence to establish a mitigation strategy for project risks.
Skills and Experience: -
- Proven Senior Project Management experience in a UK consultancy
- Professional accreditations (RICS)
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
- Confident in leading projects from inception to completion
- The drive to grow and develop a wider team
