Your opportunity


  • Work as a member of a global team focused on both regional and global tasks
  • Must be familiar with terminology, concepts, and processes related to strategic sourcing and contract management including:
  • Vendor research and analysis
  • Competitive Bidding Process (RFP, RFQ, RFI, etc.)
  • Contract negotiation (strong understanding of key business terms contained within a contract as well as some familiarity with legal terms)
  • Ability to manage several projects at once in addition to ensuring that all daily procurement activities such as issuance of purchase orders, processing of vendor payments, record keeping, etc. are completed
  • Day to day handling of a variety of procurement needs across the middle and front office through various methods
  • Ability to work and develop influential relationships with stakeholders in different global locations and run projects on a global basis including global sourcing projects.
  • Management of vendor and contract lifecycle as needed to ensure contracted terms are being met
  • Must research and understand high level drivers behind large-level procurement activities and best support them through thorough and detail-oriented contract negotiations
  • Execute and provide spend analytics to key internal clients allowing them to manage their vendor base and budgets
  • Develops and maintains records and files necessary for efficient operations
  • Handle a large workload and self-manage deadlines
  • Carry out additional duties as assigned.

Must have skills

  • Ability and desire to work autonomously

  • Understand complex business problems, apply advanced analytical thinking / market knowledge and drive the most appropriate business outcome.
  • Understanding of the financial services industry and its associated vendors
  • Effective negotiating skills – both commercial and contract terms
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Enjoys working in cross-department teams and with diverse sets of clients
  • Comfortable interacting and building relationships with individuals at all levels of the company
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Desires a position of responsibility and growth
  • A “can do”, team-oriented attitude demonstrated by energy, determination and professionalism


Nice to have skills


  • CIPS Qualified up to Level 4
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • MBA or similar financial degree preferred
  • Experience of using Procurement technologies such as spend, sourcing and contract tools
  • Experience with working with Finance, Accounts Payable, and Legal teams
  • Experience in a procurement and/or vendor management role
  • Experience of analytics, preferably in spend analytics and data management
