Job Description

SAIC is looking for a dynamic and experienced OSINT Collectors to work with a diverse team of collectors, linguists, cultural experts, and operations officers, providing operational support to dynamic global operations. These positions will require interaction with a wide variety of Government and contractor personnel – ability to operate in a diverse, evolving, and high-profile environment is key. These positions are contingent upon contract award expected September/October 2024. Positions are available at various experience levels in the following locations: Paengseong, Republic of Korea Augusta, GA Please include location preference in application cover letter. Job Duties: Responsible for OSINT Collection activities, reporting and product development Responsible for locating and collecting relevant information from a diverse menu of sources in the Cyber domain Navigates social media, open source and relevant forums/websites Employs collection techniques and signature reduction tools to identify and collect information relevant to customer requirements Applies in-depth knowledge of internet-based research skills with the ability to effectively use internet search tools, and advanced research methods Leverages intelligence expertise to support information collection, product development, and assist teammates with intelligence problems Identifies and reports potential targets, trends, threats, and vulnerabilities as directed Collaborates with team members, government representatives, and industry partners to support intelligence and analysis activities Produces incident, threat, and information reports based on customer direction, and in compliance with relevant U.S. government policies Qualifications Education and Experience: Junior: High School Diploma and five (5) or more years’ experience conducting Defense or Intelligence Community intelligence support operations Journeyman: High School Diploma and ten (10) or more years’ experience conducting Defense or Intelligence Community intelligence support operations Senior: Bachelors and five (5) years or more experience conducting open-source intelligence activities in support of the Defense Department or Intelligence Community Agencies; Masters and three (3) years or more OSINT experience; applicable PhD (data engineering, research, security studies, etc.) and 0 years related experience - additional 4 years’ experience accepted in lieu of degree Clearance Requirement: Must be a U.S. Citizen with an Active Top Secret SCI Clearance Additional Requirements: Working knowledge of popular, legacy, and new social media, forums, messaging services, blog sites, and mobile applications Knowledgeable of idioms, colloquialisms, slang, and have a sophisticated understanding of the cultural, social, and political environment Extensive relevant experience working within / for US military or US intelligence community organizations Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to execute multiple tasks and ongoing projects while ensuring compliance with applicable policies, and procedures Proficiency in Microsoft Office products Willing to work outside normal business hours Desired Certifications & Skills: Completion of U.S. Army OS-301, OS-302, OSINT Basic Course, USSOCOM NERD, DIA OS1, FBI OS-101, or similar industry training Experience or certifications in data engineering, analytics, or similar field Foreign linguistic capabilities (minimum 2/2/2 proficiency) in priority languages (French, Russian, Mandarin, Spanish, Arabic, Persian/Farsi) Experience conducting intelligence and information briefings, and other official communications, with senior and executive leaders Knowledge of military operations, terminology, and structure Description SAIC is looking for a dynamic and experienced OSINT Collectors to work with a diverse team of collectors, linguists, cultural experts, and operations officers, providing operational support to dynamic global operations.
