About the role:
As the Commercial Content Lead in the Creative & Content team, you'll be responsible for leading the commercial content team of writers ensuring commercial content is on brand and meet’s the client briefs and deadlines. As well as writing, this role is responsible for leading the team’s day to day activities ensuring that the team of writers produce outstanding work in keeping with Are Media’s premium titles. This role will be working across our iconic brands including House & Garden, The Australian Women’s Weekly, marie claire, BEAUTYcrew and ELLE.

Duties:
Ideating, writing and editing digital and social commercial copy and products
Contributing and leading on ideas at pitch meetings; responding to digitally-led pitch brief responses
Writing and edit engaging commercial content across various channels, ensuring consistency in tone, style, that reflects the chosen brands voice.
Managing client feedback and requests according to Are Media’s host-brand style, the product they have booked and the inclusions/guidelines
Collaborate and proactively communicate with stakeholders to ensure clients deliverables are met
Be a role model and hold others accountable for demonstrating our values and behaviour
Recognise opportunities for workflow and process improvements and implement the respective changes accordingly
Skills & Experience we are looking for:
Excellent written communication skills, spelling and grammar
Writing experience on a magazine, digital or social platforms
A strong work ethic, being a self-starter and a team player are essential
Strong time management skills and attention to detail
Proven people leadership skills, with a strong work ethic and collaborative mindset
