Job Description

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an energetic and enthusiastic Social Media Coordinator to join our client in Port Melbourne.


Job Summary:
As a Social Media Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing and executing social media strategy across various platforms. You will work closely with the marketing team to create engaging content, grow our online presence, and connect with our audience. This role is perfect for a creative and tech-savvy individual who is passionate about social media and staying on top of the latest trends.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Develop, schedule, and publish engaging content across social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok).

  • Assist in the development and execution of social media campaigns and promotions.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure brand consistency in all social media communications.

  • Creation of blogs.

  • Reaching out to Influencers and content creators to develop content and partnerships

  • Use graphic design capabilities to create, resize and redesign imagery to suit the relevant platform. i.e. Instagram stories.

  • Working with the marketing team to conduct regular photoshoots to create content for all digital platforms.

  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging social media platforms, identifying opportunities for innovation.

  • Coordinate with graphic designers, copywriters, and other team members to create high-quality content.

  • Adhoc tasks


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in social media management or a similar role.

  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, tools, and analytics.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Creative mindset with the ability to generate unique content ideas.

  • Familiarity with social media advertising and paid promotion strategies.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency in graphic design software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
