Position Overview

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Plant Operator to join our team. You will operate various heavy machinery and equipment to support infrastructure projects and maintenance operations across the Shire. Key Responsibilities

• Heavy Machinery Operation: Operate and maintain excavators, loaders, graders, and other equipment.


• Road Maintenance: Assist in road construction, grading, sealing, and drainage work.


• Equipment Checks: Conduct pre-start checks and regular maintenance for safety and efficiency.


• Team Collaboration: Work with team members to complete projects on time and to specifications.


• Safety Protocols: Adhere to safety protocols and promote a positive safety culture.

Qualifications

• Current and valid plant operator tickets (e.g., HR license, relevant machinery tickets).


• Previous experience in civil works or a similar environment.


• Strong knowledge of workplace health and safety regulations.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


• Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
