About the role

Are you a skilled and compassionate Midwife and Registered Nurse looking for a unique opportunity in a charming rural town? South West Healthcare (SWH) invites applications for fixed-term (Parental Leave) position in our Camperdown Acute Ward. This role offers a rewarding chance to provide exceptional patient-centred care while enjoying the benefits of a supportive and experienced team.

About the Role:

  • Position: Fixed term (Parental Leave) - 32 Hours per fortnight until August 2025
  • Location: Camperdown Campus
  • Classification: Registered Nurse Grade 2
  • Salary Range: $71,333 - $95,378 pro rata, plus superannuation

Midwives will find a particularly rewarding rand diverse role here, as you will be pivotal in delivering Birthing, Antenatal, and Postnatal care, on our acute ward and in the community. You will also form part of our acute ward team offering services such as acute, medical, surgical, urgent care, short stay and palliative care nursing. We also offer opportunities to work in further diverse areas including Theatre, District Nursing, and Aged Care if these align with your career goals.

What You Bring:

  • Current AHPRA dual registration as a Registered Nurse/ Midwife
  • Proven clinical competency and effective communication skills
