About the role

We are currently seeking experiences Mining Operators to join our team in Permanent Full-Time roles at Qcoal – Located in the Bowen Basin.

About you

Key responsibilities and requirements.

• 12 months experience operating at least one production mining equipment on a mine site (Rear Dump Truck, Dozer, Grader or Excavator)


• An SSE signed skills list


• Current open drivers licence


• Standard 11


• A commitment to a positive safety culture

What we can offer at Thiess

• A market payment up to $15,000 to be applied to particular roles


• Retention Payment from 1st July 2024, $10,000 paid in 52 weekly payments. Inclusive of super.


• Attendance bonus - $250 per fortnight


• Camp accommodation close to mine site - 10 minutes down the road


• 12hr day & night shifts


• BIBO from Townsville


• Retention and market payments available


• Salary sacrifice options – flights & novated leasing


• Opportunity to earn up to $146,597 plus super
