Overview:
We are currently seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) for a school-based position near Beulaville, NC. The role will cover K-8 students throughout the school year, providing critical support to help children overe barriers to their learning and development. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working in schools, though school experience is not required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct prehensive evaluations for students in grades K-8, identifying needs related to motor skills, sensory processing, and functional independence.
  • Design and implement individualized occupational therapy interventions to promote student participation and success in the classroom.
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents to develop and support IEP goals.
  • Provide direct therapy services, both individually and in group settings, to improve fine motor skills, coordination, and other developmental areas.
  • Maintain detailed progress reports, documenting student growth and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • North Carolina Occupational Therapy license or eligibility.
  • Experience working in a school setting is preferred but not required.
  • Strong interpersonal and munication skills to work with students, staff, and families.
  • Ability to manage caseloads and schedules efficiently.
